Children are not just small adults. 🦷👧👦
Thank you to everyone who joined us for Minimum Intervention (MI) in Children – Review and Review until Cavitation? with Dr Tan Wee Kiat.
Drawing on over four decades of experience in paediatric dentistry, Dr Tan challenged us to rethink how minimally invasive dentistry is applied in children, highlighting why principles used in adult care cannot always be directly translated to the primary dentition.
Through practical, evidence-based insights, attendees gained a deeper appreciation of the unique diagnostic, behavioural and clinical considerations involved in caring for our youngest patients.
A sincere thank you to Dr Tan Wee Kiat for sharing her invaluable expertise, and to Acodent for their generous support in making this educational evening possible. Their partnership enables SDA to continue delivering high-quality continuing professional education for the dental community.
Thank you to everyone who attended, and we look forward to welcoming you to more SDA CPE programmes soon.

🦷✨ A to Z Molar Endodontics 4 Days Down!
What an incredible workshop with Dr. Abhishek Parolia! From diagnosis and CBCT on Day 1 to mastering MB2, C shaped, and severely curved canals under the microscope by Day 4, our participants showed up and levelled up. 💪
The group discussions were fruitful, with everyone digging deep into real clinical challenges and learning from each other`s experience. The hands-on sessions under the microscope were hugely helpful. And throughout it all, the energy in the room was simply unmatched. 👏
We also got to celebrate Dr. Abhi`s birthday during the course 🎂🎉 Thank you for sharing your knowledge AND your special day with us!
Huge thanks to our partners Dentsply Sirona, Eastland Dental Supplies, Zeiss, and Sunny Dental Medical Supply for supporting this workshop.
Until the next one! 🔬

✨ What a wonderful evening it was!
Last Friday, we wrapped up a sold-out session of Vital Pulp Therapy – The Way Forward? with the esteemed Dr Eng Tiong Koh, and what an evening of learning it was!
With a full house of engaged dental professionals, the atmosphere was set for a rich evening of clinical insights, research perspectives, and case discussions.
Dr Koh brought decades of clinical expertise and research insight to the fore, sharing perspectives on Vital Pulp Therapy that left participants with plenty to reflect on and bring back to their practice.
We were also delighted to have our General Secretary present a token of appreciation to Dr Koh in recognition of his generous sharing of knowledge. 🙏
Of course, no SDA evening is complete without good food, and light snacks gave everyone a chance to unwind, connect, and continue the conversation. 🍽️
A heartfelt thank you to Dr Eng Tiong Koh for an insightful and engaging session, to our dedicated secretariat team for their hard work behind the scenes, and most importantly to all our participants for making this a sold-out success.
We look forward to seeing you at our next event! 🦷
